TIME TO ENJOY SETTING YOUR ALARM CLOCK
Reach out and touch the screen. Every element is meant to be interactive. Left handed? Yes, Rise loves you, too.

Pull it up or down and watch the sky change as you pick a wake up time. Turn the alarm on by pulling the screen left or right.

Or, simply shake your device to quickly set an alarm for a short nap or to use as a timer.

WAKING UP IS A BEAUTIFUL THING
Wake up to the sound of the woods, ease into the day with a custom Rise melody, or your favorite song from iTunes.

Tap to snooze and be a little late, or pull the screen to turn off the alarm and be on time. Hey, it's your life.

From the lock screen: Shake to snooze or turn off the alarm.

MULTIPLE ALARMS HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS EASY (With in-app purchase)
Easily create repeating alarms for any time with custom labels for each alarm. Toggle all your alarms on or off from one screen. Rise will always show the next alarm when you open the app.

A BETTER ALARM NEEDS A BETTER CLOCK
Large clock in either portrait or landscape (for docked devices) with clock background options: Night or Skyscape. Swipe to change the clock background and dim the screen by sliding up or down.

LET RISE HELP YOU FALL (ASLEEP)
Use SleepTunes to make a playlist from your iTunes collection to help you fall asleep. Set a timer for your playlist so it doesn't run all night.

NOTES
- Rise is made for iOS 9+ compatible devices.
- Rise works with "Do Not Disturb" and the silence switch as long as it's in the foreground and / or auto-locked when using those two features.

Doesn’t go off

Sadly although I like the sounds on offer I can’t rely on this alarm as it just doesn’t always go off. Maybe it’s something I’m doing wrong but it’s not reliable enough for me sadly

Two steps back

Have been using Rise pre v4.0 and it was great. But the 4.0 update took a few steps back in my view. First the settings page is now iOS7-like, but I preferred the old one which mimicked the way you set the alarm time - this meant you had one simple UI method which was brilliant. Now it's a combination of generic iOS tweaks and some of the controls have been removed. They are actually accessible after you set the alarm, but you have to wait for them to activate and they don't seem to stay in place - as soon as you touch the phone the screen lights up and they seem to reset the next time you set an alarm meaning you have to check all the settings (including volume). I had to turn it over every night to get some darkness and have now given up. Too fiddly.

Notifications

A very pleasant app that has some mechanics I can't resolve. First off I am opposed to using in a dock, I don't want it to display the time I find any light source distracting. Secondly, I sometimes wake up a fraction early and would just like to dismiss the app to dismiss the upcoming alarm. The problem is that you still get notifications when the alarm time arrives, lots of them, which each need to be dismissed individually, a nuisance if it happens on a daily basis. So in practise the app is let down by poor behaviour. I love the design, the gestures, I unlocked the multiple alarm settings it all works well. I hope iOS 12 brings the notification system under control. But going back to 'Bedtime' even though there is no way to dismiss an upcoming alarm.
