Rig Manager 4+

But sadly it has some basic problems.

1/ It crashes a lot. Tap on anything in the chain in a rig and it crashes

2/ I can’t select my rig from the list like in the App Store screen shots, just backward and forward.

3/ I can’t install new rigs or backup my profiler

When the Profiler was first launched (and I was a very early adopter), it had the worst user-interface I had ever seen. I’m pretty good with these things and a manual nerd, but this thing beat me.

Scroll forward 5 (?) years and what we have now is a truly great piece of kit. The combination of Kemper Stage, foot pedal and Power Kabinet coupled with the latest software versions gives you a total recording and performance guitar solution.

I would still give Helix the edge for built-in FX, hence only 4 stars, but the amp profiles in Kemper are something Line 6 can only dream about - unless they are working on a profiling v.2 Helix…?

It is superb how Kemper evolves. Software is updated constantly to improve and add new, extremely useful, features. Having the ability to use the head wirelessly is a boon. Who would have thought we could use these features when it was first introduced. Very much future-proof. Well done Kemper team.
