Brilliant Design and Customisation

This is a fantastic app and DnD companion; it gets you excited about exploring new possibilities within the DnD and RPG world and to get into/back into the game! Amazing character creation and a great selection of options; alothough I would love to see more, always more haha! Especially the bases, they are a great addition!
One thing to remember is that this is the first release beta stage, so for that, its seems incredibly polished, although I haven’t been able to take it on a full DnD session trial yet!
The only issue I have found so far is that exporting the character doesn’t seem to work. It shows up half completed or blank when you check the image in my emails? Perhaps this is an issue that has come up already?
Overall I am so happy I backed this app in Kickstarter and can’t wait to fully utilise it in the future! Bravo 👏🏼

Great App

Please note: I was never a backer from Kickstarter and have only recently downloaded the app.

I really love this app, it is a great way of me being able to keep a track of my characters items as well as stats.

I did pay for the upgrade in character slots, and for the extra armour pictures to customise my character, as 1. The app will be used a lot, and 2. To support the app

However, I am very disappointed in the lack of helmet/hat designs. As a paladin I would have liked some kind of halo, or armoured helmet that is winged etc, I have the choice of about 6 animal heads like a bear, or a few basic armoured helmets which are very vanilla in design, there are a few mage hats etc which are okay, but overall the helmets need improving.

The fact I can add my own custom item descriptions is great, the spells aren’t all their (player handbook paladin spells had about 3 missing) but I just manually added them in so that is fine.

Great work, please keep updating this app with more designs, your app itself is amazing.

Decent, has potential. But somewhat lacking

Handy and I like how all the abilities etc are tied together so calculated automatically. It’s also nice being able to tap them and see how they’re influenced by other stats.
However there are a few issues or suggestions I have with it:
- Colour sliders are somewhat iffy. Could add a swatch system instead? And do it by colour for primary and secondary elements.
- Severe lack of support for monk. There should be another entirely different tab for monk that you can go into settings and toggle on/off, same for spells. I’m currently filling up “notes” with a bunch of attack and class-specific things that could easily be put in the place of spells.
- Guided mode. A mode that allows you to tap various elements to get a bit more of an explanation of what’s what. Good for new players.
- It surprises me that in an app heavily utilising pixel art that we do not have the option to open up a “custom art” palette that has a pixel place/erase button in a sensibly sized space with colour selectors and the body outline in the background so it can be positioned properly. There could even be a “duplicate and edit” button to modify existing artworks.

All in all a decent app but could be cleaned up and potential fulfilled with some further work.
