Remote control for LG 4+

I was so impressed by the ease of use, rich functionality and low latency of this app that I purchased it even after using it a few times. It's reasonably priced at £2.99 for a lifetime of no ads, significantly cheaper than a replacement remote and actually easier to use too! Never been so impressed by a utility app before, it just works!! My only suggestion for improvement is to be able to automatically recognise the TV on startup using its ID or MAC address somehow, because if you don't have a static IP assigned to the TV, you have to reconnect every time. Which is quick, but not ideal. Also the keyboard input is useless most of the time because apps don't support it, but no fault of the remote to be fair.

This app is good and i reccommend you to use it if you lost your remote like mine. It has everything as you can choose your remote and even try other remotes and it has some other features that i dont have on my remote. Only downfall is that there is alot of ads and it comes frequently but I cant complain as this is a 5 star app

I like the app except for one thing. The remote app image of the controller is exactly the same as the remote that came with the TV. All the buttons are exactly the same. However only the TV Guide Button does not bring up the TV guide. It takes you to the Home menus ( the little blocks along the bottom of screen). So regretfully this let’s it down. In fact it takes you to a User Guide not the listings “ Guide”. So if you want to plan viewing then you need the original remote. Ie there’s no point using the app. Nice idea but will have to forget the app except in emergency use only. Pity. :( 2 stars for now until the TV guide works; then I’ll up it to 4 or 5.
