Just the job
I’m just beginning to explore this app, but as a solo musician playing live, this has features I’m looking for mainly: good sounds, advance fill button, tap speed, custom patterns and other customisations. The custom pattern save feature has problems saving. This appears to be a bug in the software that isn’t present in the rock version of this app. I hope this gets fixed soon.
Update: I first began using this app with my iPhone X and encountered a bug saving grooves; the iPad version however is works fine to edit and save your own grooves. It’s also possible to play an external drum kit via midi-out should you need different sounds. I’m pleased that you can set up songs to quickly recall drum patterns and tempo looping with or without fills. This is my go-to app for automated drumming.
Best Reggae Drum App
I was apprehensive when I bought this app .I had to get something to cover when our drummer couldn’t make rehearsal and this app is outstanding . Love the beats and the ease of use. I highly recommend this app
Awesome reggae vibes. But…
Such a diverse and comprehensive range of acoustic reggae drums. Can create very original rhythms. Could do with more electronic sounds to make 80s dancehall and contemporary reggae grooves. Great to use in AUM and Loopy Pro but hampered by lack of AUV3 so can’t use in Logic, Cubase, etc. Now you have made it possible for IBassist come on Lumbeat make the dream come true and make all your wonderful apps AUV3. Update. I have bought half of lumbeat apps at least and they are all incredible. All need AUv3 adding and midi out fixing then easy 5 stars for every one. 🤞🙏
