A great app for tracking books

I don’t normally review apps but the Reading List app does everything I need whilst being simple to use. I have recently imported 900+ books that I’ve read over the last 17 years into it (from an excel spreadsheet) and now can few all the books I’ve read, what I thought of them and also a cover image (which was lacking from my excel spreadsheet) easily which helps when I can’t remember if I’ve read a book or not. There’s no need to set up an account to use it, it stores my data in my iCloud and I can export the data to a csv file as an extra backup. I’ve added most of my To Be Read books to the To Read section so I’m looking forward to using the Shake to Choose function next time I can’t decide what book to read. I have the Pro subscription.

So useful, especially with the new update

I felt compelled to leave a review, my first app store review ever, after discovering the features from the new update - ‘read again’ and the ‘did not finish’ list. I had been using the app for a couple of years, and even got the pro version, and I love it for its unobtrusiveness and simplicity - it does exactly what it sets out to do. Having these two new features took a very good app to an exceptional one.

Like, not to exaggerate but this is one of my most used apps, and out of my most used apps it’s the one that gives me the most joy (unlike I don’t know, twitter or mail or instagram which just give me a whole load of anxiety). This is a tool designed to meet a need, and meets it perfectly. I <3 Reading List

The best app for avid readers!

This is the fourth app I hesitantly downloaded after previous apps showing ads or being too difficult to use and it was the best decision I made! I read around 5 books a month usually but because of how simple this app is to use, I found I am almost doubling the amount of books I read now which is incredible. So easy to search for the book titles you are reading and to save the books you want to read for the rest of the month/year. The simplicity of the app is what makes it so perfect. It has become my bookmark and place to review books just after reading. I really couldn’t have asked for anything better! From an avid book reader, thank you so much for creating this app! ☺️
