Astonishingly Good !!

This is an App that I never thought I would find ... and it works very well indeed.

I am old enough to remember colleagues at work doing ray-traces by hand, with only a slide-rule and log tables for assistance; and recently I drew a ball lens [to show its spherical aberration] ray-by-ray in a CAD package. ... This tedious exercise, of course, only gave me a result for one wavelength and one refractive index.

Compare that with the performance of this App ... which, on an iPad Pro 9.7" responds almost instantaneously to parameter changes.

Highly recommended to anyone with an interest in Optics.
... It could easily justify the purchase of an iPad.

The developer is very responsive and helpful too.

Great app

Great app with seemingly endless development! I look forward now to an update notification such is the progress. Very responsive developer too - already had one of my requests implemented. Keep up the good work!

Excellent app to help understand lenses

An excellent bit of software at a good price. More tweaks and useful features are coming as well, so anyone interested in lens design should take a look
