Remember playing this on my computer in 90s. Amazing how designer didn’t try to change its original theme. Yes, ads are annoying and controls are not so great but I still enjoyed this game. I am on level 121 and feel bored now as i was expecting this to be completed at level 100. Anyway, good time killer. Good job
A bit repetitive
Not a bad game, quite fun in the beginning but after a dozen levels the game tends to repeat itself. If you loose you need to start all over again from the beginning of the level, which is annoying. The hearts you eat are only for customised outfits, I WISH I had the chance to continue playing for certain point in exchange for the hearts. I’m currently in level 210 and I have 3k of hearts...since I already unlocked all the possible outfits I don't know what to do with them. It would be amazing to be able to move the character back and forth as the original game that I had the honour to play on a 486 computer back in 1992.
Lost the true heart of the original
I’ve bought almost every Prince of Persia Game released and hoped this would deliver some nostalgia of the classic original -while it goes some way to achieving this it falls massively short of bringing the elegant movement/animation that defined the original - the rotoscope animation was ground breaking at the time and would be very little effort to at least mimic that in this modern engine. Unfortunately the animation is very clunky and feels rushed. Also missing is the echo in the sounds of footsteps and the crash of the platforms that drop into the darkness below - if this had those elements right I’d gladly pay for this. Real shame, a wasted opportunity.
