Presence is the private messaging app which is alternative to social media.
TALK PRIVATELY, SHARE PUBLICLY: Talk with friends or a broad audience privately—yes, privately. You can share content to express your life and opinions with millions, but “likes” and “replies” are private, and all communication happens in private chats. This frees you from "haters", who can no longer attack you in public, and from the anxiety caused by social media over-exposure. Additionally, no one can see how many people follow you or how many people viewed, replied, or liked your content. It’s liberating—everyone can see, but no one can touch.
Beyond that, messages are end-to-end encrypted, stored only on your phone, and we don’t track or collect sensitive data. No ads, no selling of data. In short, Presence is the safest place to be online. Read below to find out why we are so special.
GOODBYE "HATERS": Share stories publicly, but “likes”, “replies” and all interactions on the platform are private. This way nobody can spoil your contents or attack you in front of the others. Also, you can stop caring about how many "likes" and "views" you will receive.
A DIFFERENT STORY: Unless otherwise specified, your stories won't vanish after 24hrs. This lets you share more select contents about yourself and your life. Ideal for “keep in touch with fans”, “express opinions", “promote and set trends”, “make statements” and “share private moments”.
SAFE: Privacy is key for us, but even more, we made it our mission to stop online abuse and falsehoods. Presence is your place where you can be yourself and never feel over-exposed. With private interactions between users and no counters on your profile, you can finally stay online safe and relaxed.
PRIVATE: Chats and media are end-to-end encrypted and saved on your phone only. Nobody can read or see them, not even us. Also, unlike many chat applications, no one can see your “last seen” and you decide who can see your "online" status and "read receipts". This is “real” privacy, the rest is slogans.
WE DON’T: Unlike social media, we remove whatsoever source of stress or harm, we don’t collect unduly data, we don’t track you outside Presence and we don’t profile you to the liking of third parties. So when you come across a specific story or advert, you know we are serving you and nobody else.
