Description
Predilux lets you predict the exposure (key light) measured by a light meter, by choosing a light source and a distance. Or inversely measure the distance to the light source by specifying the exposure.
Predilux takes into account camera settings (FPS, ISO, Shutter), source settings (Focalization, Lens, Grid, etc.) and gels (Diffusion, CTO/CTB, CTS, +- Green, and dozen of effects).
All results have been experimentally verified with a light meter in rental shops. Predilux does not rely on constructor’s data.

Potential, but no updates and fixtures missing
My first review ever! But I feel it needs to be said. Concept of the app is great and I have found myself using it here and there when I don’t want to complicate myself with the math and googling the light output of fixtures. However, I feel like no one is working on this app at all anymore. There’s no new lights on here, and I could name so many that are more relevant in the industry that hasn’t been added. It’s a shame as it seems like something they could simply add with a reminder set on their phones each month. Anyway I hope the makers don’t abandon this much longer, once they main popular fixtures are on there it won’t take too much maintenance and that’s what is frustrating. If they ever come back I’ll update this post incase people are interested to buy. Cheers!
