PortraitWorks™ makes it easy to create great custom portraits for your D&D and other fantasy characters.
You can unlock PortraitWorks to export portraits that you have created/edited - all other features are free.
Players: Easily create a totally unique portrait that matches your character’s race, class, weapons, armor, gear, and much more.
GMs: Thousands of pre-made character portraits at your fingertips, including a wide range of NPCs, all of which can be easily customized.
Each character portrait can be customized with:
• Millions of unique faces combining individual features and hairstyles, representing different
races, ethnic groups, ages, and genders (including non-binary)
• Outfits put together from multiple layers of clothing and/or armor
Gear and weapons appropriate for a wide range of character classes and professions
Hair, skin, outfit, and nearly all items can be individually colored
All the classes from the Player’s Handbook and more, now including artificer, antipaladin, pirate, guard, and temple priest
High quality artwork - all elements of this DnD portrait maker were hand-drawn by our team of professional artists.

Great work, easy use, responsive development team
I had meant to write a review for a while and wanted to write in full but I’m at uni and don’t have time for that so here’s a shorter one.
The app is easy to use and can produce a variety of highly customised images. As such it is great for roleplaying games. It is also useful for using as a base to work further art from. A friend of mine has made some excellent AI shaped images using this app as a core. I have used it for paintings and made some cool things with the portraits in Photoshop.
I backed the Kickstarter and am very glad to have done so. I will absolutely buy whatever expansions the developers create. I have been a part of the beta-testing process and have had a lot of fun with that also. The team of producers are charismatic and highly responsive.

Almost perfect only thing I think would help is being able to add injuries and scars
Fantastic App
This App is awesome, my D&D games will never be the same again.
Have made all my players character art works, and they are so excited to get them, smiles from ear to ear, I’ve also made all my NPCs for the adventures I’m currently running, Lost Mine of Phandelver & Dragon of Icespire Peak.
The art is amazing, so much choice, in all the colours you can imagine…
And they are still making more art pack to come!!
