I can't help but keep playing this...

This game is such a wonderful mix of happiness and honesty that it never fails to make me smile! Thank you for this - quite literal - PRICELESS (& ad-free) feeling! x

TO THE WONDERFUL DEVELOPERS: I found I had to keep re-starting the app as I didn't have my headphones quite unraveled yet, so I kept missing the opening copy (I couldn't risk waking my flat mate - I hadn't taken note that there would be quite so much sound when I started it but once I had, I just wanted to keep on, keeping on playing! Such a wonderfully relaxing and just a thoroughly...NICE (it's really agenda free other than to get you to keep wanting to see what crazy thing the next errant hair...well, goes awry) app! Thank you for helping people like myself without any means to pay for apps: subscriptions in particular, feel like we're still part of the pack and able to enjoy plainly, beautiful apps such as this! Keep it up and thanks! x

This is a mindfulness game

I’ve been studying mindfulness and basic meditation and this game basically merges the two.
Today we live in a stressful world where depression and anxiety is on the increase.

The idea of games like this, is its simplicity. You are focussing on a basic task. By focusing on the line (the hair), your brain is being distracted, so any difficult thoughts you currently have are being put into the background, temporarily releasing you from them.

With basic meditation, you park your thoughts in the background and you just focus on the here on now by just thinking about each breath you are breathing. By doing this, reduces your heart rate and helps slow down racing thoughts by temporarily releasing them from you.

The simple task of just plucking the hair is the same ethos of just focusing on each breath you take in meditation.

So when life gets on top of you, just focusing the mind on a very simple task.

By slowing down your breathing, refocusing the brain, reduces adrenaline and cortisol in your blood stream. This will hopefully make you feel better and more relaxed.

Any similar game which has a very basic focus (non violent) should have the same affect.

Weird and wonderful

It’s hard not to give this game credit. No ads, no horrible money pushing, just a game that wants to mean something and succeeds wonderfully.

I finished it in about 20 minutes but I can see myself coming back to it and recommending it to my friends. Needs a little bit of proofreading in the final statements (unless the broken English was on purpose) but the quality is all there. You get the feeling that this game meant something to someone which is very fresh to see in an App Store populated by money grabbing crap.

Thank you for spending time on this worthwhile game.
