Pleasure Beach Resort 4+

I’ll start with the positives. The photo system works well and the e-tickets seemed reliable for me.
However. This app DESPERATELY needs 2 things. Firstly, a map is essential, even if it’s not interactive. it should be a standard issue really. Secondly, my experience in the park was made much worse due to the app only updating queue times once per hour. For something that is competing with the likes of Alton Towers/Thorpe Park in terms of coasters, food and prices, the app is certainly the most behind of all the major UK theme parks

A must download if you’re visiting Pleasure Beach Resort! The app is fast, efficient and aesthetically pleasing with the new ICON background and photos next to the ride queue times looking great.
As a season pass holder, it is so simple to book tickets for the date of visit too and accessing photos on the app is also really easy. The What’s On feature is brilliant at keeping up to date with On-Park entertainment.
In terms of improvements, I’d like to a live interactive map similar to Liseberg, Europa Park and other theme park apps. Additionally, seem as though you scan your e-ticket at the ride turnstiles, it noted what rides you’ve done that day. Whilst not necessarily important for myself as a season pass holder but for guests wondering what rides they’ve done it’d be quite a nice feature. Potentially they could add links to PBRs social channels too and the ability to book shows/events that day on the app. Overall, very efficient and easy to use!

In order to activate an ePass, you’re forced to upload pictures of you and your (present) family members to the app. Absolutely atrocious! Then messing around with the e-tickets and activating them is a pain! Unless you’re an expert, then you’re probably going to accidentally activate them on one phone, meaning everyone in your group needs to be near that one person’s mobile phone to get in, or onto any rides.

I genuinely had less trouble applying for my last Passport. Why they don’t have an option for wrist bands is a joke. It’s bad for the customers and I guess saves a little money for the park.
