Description

Plant Points helps you on your health journey by remembering how many plants you have eaten this week, suggesting plants you could try, motivating you with achievements.

Plant Points helps you to make sure you have 30 different plants in a week. Studies have shown that people who eat 30 different plants per week are more likely to have good bacteria in their gut. Making sure you eat enough can be a challenge, can you remember what you had for breakfast last Tuesday? Plant Points can take the hassle out of remembering what you have eaten and ensuring a varied diet.

With Plant Points you can easily keep track of your weekly plants. You can log any plant you eat and if it’s a full portion, a tea or seasoning. You then get a score for the days points and your score for the week. Plant Points also keeps track of your streak, quickly see how long you have managed to maintain eating enough plants for a healthy gut.

How it works:
- Log every plant you eat during the day
- You get a point for each unique plant you have eaten
- 1/4 point for a seasoning or tea
- Goal is to have 30 points or more for the week

Plant Points will even give you helpful suggestions of plants you have not even or other ways to meet your goals.

Regularly eat meals that have the same collection of plants? You can create meals in the app that you can quickly add all the plants at once. No need to add 5+ plants individually each time you have a bolognese sauce.

Is it hard to remember to make a note of things? With Plant Points you can set helpful reminders to add your plants after every meal.

Plant Points has an achievement system to help keep you motivated on your health journey.

Modern app design. Choose from light mode or dark mode. You can even change the app colour (if green isn’t your favourite).

Or a quick summary

- Keeps your data private.

What’s New

Version 1.2.0

This new version includes features requested by the users. If you have ideas how to make your experience even better please get in touch.

Searching for your plants is now even easier. The search will now recognise plants that are close but not exactly what you typed. You can even spell them a bit wrong and still get the right result.

Plants you have added to the app will now remember the portion size you have used. No more having to select seasoning every time you use a custom seasoning.

Useful app

Great app for recording plants eaten and seeing the results, shame I installed it on my iPad and not my phone, would have been easier to update it during the day, rather than trying to remember everything later. Have had to add quite a few new plants, particularly teas and other beverages, it would be good to assign the portion size to these new plants as they are saved so I don’t have to adjust each time.

Useful tracker

This is a great way of keeping track of the number of plants I’ve eaten in a day / week and definitely encourages me to buy a greater variety. Good little tool.

Helpful for mindful eating

This simple app is definitely helping me to keep track of my plant consumption. It encourages me to broaden my choices when they restorative and make the effort to top up if my number is on the slide. I like the ‘add a meal’ feature and will use this a great deal. Can you delete a plant if added by mistake? I haven’t yet figured out how to do so. Thanks!

Developer Response ,

Glad to hear you like the app. You can delete any plants added by swiping them away left to right
