Ratings and Reviews
Students don’t even have to get off their phones!
Brilliant little retrieval app! App repeats questions in different order once you’ve completed one cycle to consolidate knowledge of questions you may have got wrong the first time around.
Able to go through settings to change from Triple to combined too. And the challenge app makes for a good bit of self-competition.
Will be recommending to all my students on Monday! Especially with the possible upcoming disruption (covid-19)!
Great tool for revision
After first getting the app I did a few tests on it and found it helpful, then when I got the full version I was really satisfied with it. There are lots of questions for every topic and it is a great way to go back to remember what you did and to prepare for exams. I would recommend this app to anyone doing physics. One thing I would say is it is a tad confusing at the start but you get used to it.
Handy, but...
This was originally found by my physics teacher saying it would be a great revision source, but it is a tad bit confusing for me (not the questions, but the set up)
Also, it would be nice to have each unit broken up into key sub-units too, as that way, it would be easier to find and improve an area, especially a big of a unit like forces. That way, after learning a sub-topic, it would be nice to test myself on a sub-topic instead of just having to slog through the questions to find one I’d need more help with.
Developer Response ,
Thank you for your review, which I found very helpful. I have since improved the tracking views (version 6.3) as I am aware this was not as clear as it could be. Regarding your suggestion to test sub-units, I think this is a great idea, but would require a major revision of the app. I will however look to implement this as a user option in the longer term.
