Great App but not perfect

I really like the app. I think it's very usable however I think as a rugby player specifically there are some tweaks to the functionality I would like to see.

I play Saturdays and have chosen the rugby programs. Firstly I'm unsure of if the app takes into account when you play but if it does it would be good to select when competition days are e.g. playing on Saturday so get the week to make me perform best on a Saturday.

I also think it could be beneficial for the app to take into account team training. For example I train Tuesday and Thursday with Tuesday being a higher load session. It would be good to see some extra addition to the programs as with how intense the power session is Thursday I'm not able to train if I do the full session.

Finally I think the app could do with fitness sessions as well such as metcons, running, off feet con. As the app is based around athletic ability I think it's a shame these aren't included and play a big part of many programs. I also think the ability to have fitness load tied in with gym load tied in with perceived training load could really help make the app more accurate and person specific.

All in all amazing app but I think if it was developed into a more personalized app that encompasses the whole performance environment it would justify the £40 price a lot more and easily be the best app on the market.

Great workouts - bad app

Always been a fan of garage strengths workout programming having used their buyable plans before the app. That combined with workout videos is why I continue to use the app and recommend it to others. The app though… god is it hard to use, lags all the time, and constant connectivity issues, and does not understand metric weight increments. The developers need to cache locally at the very least. You don’t need to do a round trip to US servers (im in the EU) just to load my next weight. Certainly don’t try to offload blame with a error message. The best feature would be offline mode with a sync later on when I am on wifi. I will continue to use the app with faith it gets better over time.
