Pay with Rewards 4+

The app is less than useless. Used it for around six months now.

It removes card details on a regular basis, so you have to input all the time. Two factor authentication works when it wants to, for the last two weeks been unable to get onto the app. Kept sending me codes. I would enter, and up would pop an error message. Got round that by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It allows you to redeem when it feels like it. Right now balance shown, redeem option available against purchase, throws up an error message each time.

In all honesty I can’t believe a large financial institution like Mastercard, have an app that reflects so poorly on them.

This is the worst app I’ve come across. There is a complete lack of transparency with the whole set up. When I research this app/rewards card it said you could earn more points in certain shops such as Morrison’s, but there is no definitive list or confirmation of how many points you would receive. On the whole it’s very misleading. Also when you make purchases its not clear how many points you’ve earned per transaction and transactions on your statement vanish. The app keeps failing to load and gets stuck on a flashing screen. Deleted and reloaded but it still happens. I much preferred the MasterCard for Debenhams - such a shame they went bust as I don’t think I’ll get on with this one!!! :(

Well after using the app for a month with no issues and wondering why the low rating and dire write ups my app suddenly, with no rhyme or reason stopped working. No advanced warning. I pressed in the app as I have done before and was greeted with a white screen with a simple message “something went wrong”….yes…what? So try again. Same outcome. Tried the “it guy” fix. Turned off, turned back on again…. “Something went wrong”. I do believe Mr app you are repeating yourself. Tell me what the problem is.
Uninstalled, reinstalled. Still the secretive message of “something went wrong”.
Someone let me in on the secret please.
