Neat
Pathos is one of my favourite games. This game has lots of variables and has cool graphic options. It allows you to explore different fantasy concepts in conjunction with each other; and allows you to test different combinations in the numbers game.
There is a lot of potential growth for this game, and I say keep it up. However, after learning the basics the game it gets pretty easy. Sure it get easier and harder at random, but it is usually easy to complete when you know what you're doing. Maybe there could be an option to increase and or decrease different variables, so to make the game more challenging in different ways, not to be picky or anything.
Anyway, great game. Definitely recommend to those who like fantasy and rp.
Best roguelike for the iPad
Brings back so many memories of when I first downloaded nethack from a shareware bulletin board with a 4800bps modem over twenty five years ago.
A clear and concise user interface makes this a pleasure to play. The gameplay is exactly how it should be; difficult and frustrating, whilst being fun and rewarding. If you want something easy and mindless then play candy crush.
Well done author, I’m already looking forward to your frequent updates.
Best Rogue-like on the App Store
In the never ending quest to find one rogue-like to rule them all, Pathos consistently challenges and satisfies. It’s about as close to perfect as one could reasonable expect, given that NetHack, Rogue, Angband, etc. Have more commands than there are keys on a keyboard!
