Our PassivLiving App puts you in control of your home no matter where you are or what time of the day it is. Coming home early or staying out late? It’s easy to change the temperature of your home to match your plans. You’ll really love being able to remotely warm your home whilst you travel back from a long day at work or from a weekend break.
A heating schedule that’s easy to change
By matching your heating schedule to your lifestyle you will use less energy, saving you money. Unlike conventional heating controls, you don’t need to keep referring to instructions or fiddle with tricky timers to tell your heating system when to turn on and off. With PassivLiving HEAT you can control your heating right from your smart phone or tablet.
Almost everything in PassivLiving HEAT revolves around the occupancy of your home and the way you live your life. When using our smart heating system, your home will always be in one of four occupancy states:
In - There are people at home and they’re awake
Asleep - Everyone at home is in bed
Out - No one is at home for a while today
Away - No one is at home for more than one day
Using our PassivLiving App you can change the occupancy state and over-ride your pre-programmed heating schedule by simply tapping the relevant icons on your smart phone/tablet.
Save money without compromising comfort
Once you have told the system when you intend to be IN, OUT, ASLEEP or AWAY you can check and adjust the temperature of your home in real time by using the arrow buttons to turn it up or down.

Useful and fairly easy to use
This app has been tweaked and modified a few times but it’s current version seems to work well. It is quite straightforward to set the times and temperatures wanted but it would be great if there was a bit more flexibility to have different temperatures for different ‘In’ times eg in the morning and immediately on return from school hours say might not need to be as warm as later in the evening etc. I know the app has an overall option to have different temp for am or pm but this is a bit vague. If you could have an option for a user defined number if ‘In’s eg ‘In 1’; ‘In 2’; ‘In 3’ etc where user can set the times and temps for each one that would be awesome.
Glitchy
App seems to have glitches, I set the temperatures and I can see a projected plan but then it forgets the temperature settings and does something completely different. This results in boiler being used instead of heat pump.
Another glitch has been the away setting. It showed that it was set to away but when we came back the house was really warm.
Mediocre
We have constant problems with the app sometimes we can set it and other times we can’t, not sure what has happened as it used to work okay
