Description

Build an empire in a single sitting. All the strategy of a classic 4X in a faster format.

At the dawn of history, Bronze Age kings built the first empires. Strategize their rise to power in a uniquely streamlined 4X. Expand your borders, build cities in tactical locations then raise armies to defend them. Each turn, you receive opportunities but must choose only one. Random victory conditions make every game different; custom victory conditions support different styles of play.

Needs a bit of work

It’s entertaining enough, rare to see a game about the Bronze Age, I like the mechanics of how it all works, it’s simple but complex in its own way without being overly complex.

My only issue is with the warfare and the flag system, the AIs can expand exceptionally quickly which you as the player just can’t keep up with in most situations, and this always results in being unable to defend yourself when they inevitably start getting armies and fleets as you just can’t match their strength of resources, and this is on novice level too, so the game becomes unbalanced fairly quickly, so yeah it needs a bit of work but otherwise I’d say it’s worth a try.
