Our Daily Bread 4+

I’ve been reading Our Daily Bread since I was sixteen and have always enjoyed this App too. Recently, although I’ve received the notification each day the App has closed immediately on opening, despite being up to date. Today I deleted it and reinstalled it on my iPad. I’m pleased to say that it is now working. Unfortunately, all the bookmarks I’d saved and journals I’d written are deleted. Very sad.

I enjoy using this app. I like it’s content. Audio is better for me than reading. The 2025 changes are welcomed, like having the scripture reading first - great! However now there is background music playing throughout each day‘s message and I don’t like it. It’s distracting for me and there needs to be an option to turn that music off (I’ve checked in Settings and can’t see anything).
Another issue is that I am registered on the app but unable to log on, the reset password option for some reason does not work although if I try to register it says an account already exists.

I was disappointed for the first 3 days after downloading the app when the comment section wasn’t working for me - It's now fixed & this gets a 5* from me. Well done devs on how seamless the whole journey works. Interesting thing is that I understand how much effort goes into app development, fixing bugs etc. So great job! For the first time I believe God is actually calling me to give financially towards the good work you guys at ODB do 😀. Bless you.
