Amazing!!
This is a phenomenal piece of FREEWARE! Essentially, 4 instrument groups with filters, adsr amps, multi-fx, with each group having a good selection of presets.
It works as a standalone app, but everything included and available in the standalone version is identical when used as an AUv3 in your favourite DAW.
The instruments all have their own EQ, filters and fx etc, but the best part is, you can layer them all AND split the keyboard into zones across all 8 octaves! You get real-time access to levels etc so mixing levels on the fly is no problem - there are too many features to list, all work via MIDI, it sounds great, works without any issues so far in GarageBand - and it’s FREE!
It needs to be in everyone’s collection of ‘go to’ instruments - like the title says, it’s phenomenal, I love it! Thank you!
One of the best
I use this app for piano practice and occasional recording. I love the timbre of most of the acoustic and electric piano sounds (especially the Koln Concert Grand). There are plenty of easy-to-use controls to adjust any of the app’s basic sounds. It’s light on the personal data collection. And it’s free! Great work.
Lovely sounds, and genuinely free!
So many apps that claim to be free are just an invitation to subscription. This one is the real deal. Sounds that rival and in some cases surpass many paid apps, plus stand-alone and AU3 versions that offer the same quality. It’s an example proving that altruism is not dead. Bravo.
