Not in a bad way but bad enough to make me want to write a review about it. The game is weirdly addictive but the inconsistency of the compartments popping is just like naaa. Here’s an example, I have the second hull upgrade and it’s recommended depth is 100m and destruction depth is 200m.
My compartment pops at 96m the second one at 150m? Like are you actually kidding me, this game needs overall more content and some tweaks. In return alive, my engine isn’t even there, I can’t go forward. Only my generator and pump is still there but the engine button is simply gone. So work on the bugs and more upgrades please! The only reason that this is 4 star is that it’s the only good submarine game that I can find. Go for the 5 stars.
Nice little game
To be honest I don’t normally write reviews but there was a couple of free items with a promise to write a review which relies on honesty - which already says everything about the developer. You’ll either like this game or you won’t. It relies on patience and practice. I’d like to see a little more skill required like going through smaller gaps etc and maybe an instruction page (cos I can’t figure out the Stirling engine or what the max min slider at the bottom of the page does)…. That said, it’s honestly addictive and enjoyable. Keep stuff like this coming please.
Edit: the min max slider is for the speed of your tub. Just realised

Just a couple of notes ref the last review, in defence of this game - firstly in return alive you are not supposed to move forward! The idea is to go as deep as you dare; returning alive... So it’s not a bug. Secondly leaks do not spring at exact points but increase in probability as depth increases. Hopefully this will help your enjoyment!
However the game could be improved if I had the option of changing subs after upgrading, plus the interface is a little clanky but very fun nonetheless.
