Started as a DIY passion project in Hackney in 2011, with the aim of supporting emerging artists and creating an alternative to stagnant mainstream radio, the platform has over 600 resident hosts: musicians, DJs artists and record collectors.

Unbelievably good app for independent radio
The ability to listen to the whole archive of previous shows is an absolute blessing, but sometimes I forget which ones I’ve already listened to, so adding a little indication of whether a show has been played would be hella useful, and since there is already the history function of showing what you have played recently, I don’t see why this wouldn’t be possible. Keep up the amazing work
Love NTS! A few tweaks to be made on app
First of all, I love NTS, what a great concept, great station, awesome treasure trove of music. The app is generally good however still some bugs on past episodes not generating meaning users miss out, playback not working on how far you’re into an episode, searching for lists that don’t appear properly, so definitely room for improvement! All in all though, a revelation, keep up the amazing content and development :)
App often shuts down when I lock my Phone
Since the recent update a few weeks ago, I’ve noticed a new bug whereby the app will shut down/ close, if I lock my phone from home screen.
Often I’ll enter the NTS app, read/ pick music etc… then swipe out of the app and then lock my phone. In doing this, it seems to shut the app down and therefore stops the music. If I enter back into the app it seems to have restarted the app. I have noticed this since returning to work in Jan.
Pls have a look into it, cheeeeers
