Ratings and Reviews
Works Great! Using to test Guitar sound levels with new amplifier
I’m using this to test decibel levels around my house when I play through my new guitar amp at different settings (for those who are interested, it’s VOX AC10C1) on an iPhone 11.
Gives me the exact info I need, the underlying testing algorithm is a well researched / documented one, and it doesn’t clutter up the experience with unnecessary info.
The bonus it’s from a Governmental testing lab, who have released it for free (which is probably why you - the reader - are looking at this review).
Does exactly what I need, and will likely do the same for your use case. Recommended
Superb db measurement
Thank you for making this freely available.
Seems very reliable compared to several other decibel meter apps I’ve used, even on an older iPhone.
However, 4/5 stars due to annoying bug when saving noise, the notes and place isn’t saved. When you exit and enter the app again, all that data is sadly lost.
Fantastic Decibel meter and it’s free! No adverts!
Fantastic award winning app that is completely free with no adverts at all!
I really hope it stays that way... I doubt it... but I will enjoy using it whilst it’s free and advert free.
What I love is the information about sound that is available within the app. Can’t fault this app at all.
HUGE thank you to the developers at EA LAB.
