Netflix Stories 17+

i absolutely love this game! the stories are so good and no paying for dialogue options or outfits, although the selection is quite small. i would like to see more stories added such as maybe a stranger things one as i would love that? or maybe my life with the Walter boys would be really good! Just a few ideas that i would like to see in the future and i would also love it if you continue with the story of the Outer banks as it ends st season one, but i would really love it if the game continued throughout all the seasons. I'm not sure if that's something the developers are already working on- but id not i recommend that the story is continued. but overall i honestly love the game!

So the app itself is great, no adverts or paying for options or outfits etc… it’d be great if you were allowed to change your hair but it’s not a big deal that you can’t.
My issue is with the story itself. There is so much focus on outside random uninteresting drama. And not enough focus on your own relationship, especially after the pods. Every time it seems like there will be a scene to develop the relationship side of the story, it’s interrupted by some pointless drama with the other contestants. And it’s incredibly boring because who plays a romance game to be read about how the other contestants (spoiler) had a hurricane on their honeymoon, someone cheated in a different relationship etc… there is so much focus on everyone else and not yourself and it’s so incredibly annoying. There’s random rivalries for no reason, all of a sudden you’re gonna be the host of a show which I don’t care about and finally you think right I’ve got through all this pathetic drama it’s going to focus on the romance… and the story ends. Weeks and weeks of waiting just for that to be the end. Whoever wrote the story REALLY needs to organise their priorities, nobody cares about all the other characters in a romance story. The app should be called “Love is Blind, so blind that you won’t see it at all you’ll just watch a bunch of random drama”.

So I really enjoy playing the Emily in Paris game, with good options for designing your character, decent fashion choices and a decent romantic plot line. My only gripe with the game is that you have three options to choose from for each decision you make, and many of them aren’t great or the right choices in terms of believability or narrative. I’ve played this many times trying different answers, but none of them are really great. So for example it keeps trying to create a love triangle, but one character comes across and smarmy, another disingenuous and the third really full on but sincere. That’s all fine, but it’s almost as if the charaters don’t get the hint you aren’t into them
After many interactions where you suggest otherwise. And they all lead to a ‘big decision’ of whether or not to continue a relationship with characters you’ve already said no to. And when you finally get to that point, your only option is to say we should ‘end this’ and there was no this to end.
These are all fixes which can be done with better writing overall. As a writer myself it’s a little cringe worthy in places but still a good distraction. Wish there was much more of it.
