Mobile Banking for customers who hold NatWest International bank accounts in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Gibraltar.
WHAT YOU NEED TO REGISTER
• You’ll need to be registered for Online Banking
• Your Channel Islands, Isle of Man, UK, Gibraltar or international mobile number
• Your Customer Number which is your date of birth followed by four random digits
• Your Online Banking PIN & password which is what you use to log in online
• When logging in for the first time you’ll be asked to choose a mobile banking passcode, which is what you’ll use in the future
Supported international mobile numbers: Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE or United States.

Key Features
• Login using Touch ID or Face ID – there’s no need to remember your passcode when logging in. Available on a compatible iPhone or iPad
• Personalise your app – customise how your app greets you, hide your balance, reorder your accounts, manage your alerts or share your account details
• Get Cash – visit a cash machine and withdraw up to £130 without your debit card – perfect if you’ve forgotten your wallet
• Pay someone new without a card reader – all you need is their sort code and account number and you can send up to £750. Register for biometric approval and take a selfie to authorise payments above £750.
• Pay your contacts using their mobile number

OTHER THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Get Cash allows you to withdraw up to £130 every 24 hours at any NatWest International, NatWest, Isle of Man Bank, Ulster Bank or Tesco ATM, as long as it’s within your daily withdrawal limit. You must have at least £10 available in your account.
Paying your contacts allows a maximum of 20 payments totalling £250 per day. Pay anyone with a UK current account who is registered for the Paym service. You must be aged 16 or over.

App “For’s & Against’s”
I like the app as it allows me convenient access to my money. I do however find the “put me in the frame” feature frustrating. I find it difficult to use unless the light is perfect which is not always possible. The payment is not made unless the system can recognise me. There should be an alternative security system to avoid delays and frustration.

Wastes time searching
First of all when you realise you need the International App not the National App, you then find it cannot load onto your MacBook.
Then, when you open it on your iPhone . It doesn’t load an App onto your computer, you stay live.
When trying to download a batch of transactions, the date selection is fine, and the transactions are shown. There is no way shown, to convert those transactions to a format for use with Excel or Numbers.
Abroad and in a different Time Zone ( International?) the all but useless Cora, when eventually bullied into connecting you to Live Chat , reveals the Live is only available during GMT working hours and your long winded search questions to a robot, are not saved, so you have to start over later.

Running balance is wrong
The New latest iPhone app this Sept 2024 shows the running balance against each transaction wrong. When you go into your bank account, you can slide the right hand side of the screen to the left to view a running balance against each transaction amount. But this running balance does not tally against each transaction. Quite a big bug for a banking app! Please get your developers to fix this bug ASAP. It might be a good idea, if you included a button on the App to report these kinds of bugs instead of being forced to write it in a review!
