What’s New
Version 2.9.0
Hello everyone!
In this update, we’ve added several important features. You can now save your connection history and create Favourite Connections. Favourites are especially handy for those managing multiple NAS devices – and more! It’s also convenient to set up multiple connections even for a single NAS, whether for different users or different connection methods. For example, you can create QuickConnect connection or direct through an IP address in case QuickConnect is unavailable. The connection name will be displayed on the main screen, so you’ll always know which connection is active.
By default, your Favourites are synced via iCloud, making it easy to access them across multiple devices. You can disable iCloud sync in the settings if needed.
Just a reminder: all connection data is securely stored in your personal Keychain (iPhone, iCloud) and is never shared elsewhere.
What’s else:
• Added an option to disable confirmation when deleting multiple tasks
• Optimized the NAS reconnection process – reconnections are now significantly faster in most cases
• Fixed an issue that could occur when using QuickConnect if multiple NAS devices with the same IP address existed on different networks (thanks, Filipe!)
Ratings and Reviews
Seems fine to me
After i updated my iphone synlogy download manager was no longer supported.
This seems to fill the gap just fine.
Wish it could be linked to the file association so i can chose to “open with” on my iphone - but apart from that this is great.
Developer Response ,
Thanks for the positive feedback! Much appreciated! Starting from version 2.5.0 it's possible to open files from the "Files" app.
It works!
After upgrading my phone it’s no longer possible to get DS GET, it’s been removed. This app works and in much the same way as the Synology version…. Only better. Well done, keep the updates coming.
Developer Response ,
Thanks a bunch for your feedback! 🌟 With your support, we’ll make the app even better and more user-friendly.
Reliable
Been using for several with no issues, my go-to app for initiating and monitoring downloads on my Synology NAS.
Only gripe is the lack of ability to change the download location either from the start of the download or during the download. Any plan to incorporate this option?
Developer Response ,
Thanks for the feedback! And yes, we are working on it.
P.S. Added folder selection in the app version 1.6.0
