Fun turning poetry into songs
I thought I’d give MyTunes a shot as I wanted a simply way of seeing what some of my poetry sounded like as songs. I was pleased with the free one so took out a subscription and have converted 20 poems into songs. Seventeen out of 20 sounded quite good on the first or second attempt (changing genres makes a difference). With the others, it was my poor lyric phrasing but after a few tweaks they sounded good too. Classical and country worked best. Four stars because the servers get swamped at times (notification usually works but not always) and I’d have liked basic folk and blues as well as the genres offered. Okay, I’d love a bigger range of genres but that’s unrealistic so a couple more core ones would be appreciated.
Been unable to use it for a week
I’ve been checking everyday to try and use this app, keeps saying its all caped out no matter what time of the day it is, not really a point in paying for a week and not being able to create anything, sad tho I did manage to make a few songs and sounded good, shame it’s impossible to even make them now, kind of a waist of money
Not fit for purpose and looking scammy
I really wanted this app to work but… after signing up for a week to give it a proper try… not even two minutes later I regretted it. When doing a cover, it sounded too robotic and when “creating” music, I was asking for 30 second clips but only got 5 second ones and in some cases were exactly the same regardless of the prompt given. I contacted the dev using the app to no avail. The iCloud email I used to contact these people hasn’t been active for a long time, and I mean not sending nor receiving emails, then a few hours after contacting these people I received an email blackmailing me. Unrelated? I don’t know, but it’s all very scammy. I’d want my money back to be honest. Stay away from these people, surely there’ll be better apps.
