If you are roaming and a call gets answered by voicemail, which apparently is turned on automatically, the money is taken from your account , but it never shows up in the bills and activity section of the MyDigicel App , Giving Digicel Carte Blanche to take money from your account whenever they please without explanation.
Digicel it’s time to do better
A couple months ago I made a top up, after the top went through, about 2-3 days after another transaction was taken from my account that I didn’t authorised
I contacted Digicel and asked why was funds taken from my account? after how many days I got a respond to send my details
Which I already sent my name and phone number on my Digicel account, they then responded to tell me that I made the transaction, I was sent a phone number that I don’t have or knows who’s number
I then challenged them by asking them that if I was the one who made the transaction then why it’s not showing on my app that I made the top up?
I even tried ringing the number to see if anyone would answer but no response and Digicel is yet to respond to me or refund my money that was taken
Because of this I reported it to my bank letting them know that the funds was taken without my consent I didn’t authorised it at all
Digicel if you want Jamaicans abroad to support your business you need to do better, get honest and professional people to work with you to solve these problems
In other words get honest people who will not scam money from peoples accounts to top up their phones, it’s disgusting to know this is actually happening
Do better, get your affairs in order before you mess with the wrong person’s finances and you end up paying for more than what was taken
Shame on you, do better
Useless
App bill, email bill and bill according to the store when you go in do not match. Useless!
Constantly glitching and crashing. Useless!
More interested in adverts and selling you more unwanted stuff than actually providing a useful service to customers eg correct bill, ability to see usage of data, texts, calls, international calls etc, providing the ability to change data plan, ability to see how long is left on contract etc. Useless!
When calling customer services to sort out yet again an error in billing they constantly think I’m in Jamaica!!!
