Bluetooth connectivity.

Bought a new 72 plate 1300 Tiger GT PRO. The triumph Sat Nav app won’t connect to my iPhone. My Bluetooth headset has stopped working through the bikes Bluetooth.
I have tried everything and still not connecting. Triumph dealer says to connect things in a sequence, with headset last. Still doesn’t work. This is really frustrating. What’s the point in selling the bike with added features that don’t work. The bike has had a software update after a new stop/start switch was fitted. Still doesn’t work. Yes I can play music from my phone through the headset fine. When it connects to the bike, initially it works then if you touch any function button on the bike, the headset disconnects from playing music but I can still take a phone call. I’d rather it was the other way around as I don’t do calls when on the bike, just the music. Bike rides great but all the electrical features let it down. If not resolved I won’t keep the bike and possibly go for another brand as I am getting no joy with this.

Another question for the developer: iOS 15 is now available. Can I upgrade to this or will this further delay the fix that was due July/August?

Update: I was excited to see an update available but nav still won’t connect to my Speed RS 1200! Why the hell has this not been sorted yet!! Well I provided my VIN & mobile device details to the “developer” so that they could assist. All I received in response was the official statement from the website with the timescale “July/August” replaced with “soon”. They should consider removing iPhones from the comparability list if they don’t want Trading Standards knocking on the door! Full email below Dear Ian, We have been made aware that customers of the New Speed Triple 1200 RS with Apple iPhone handsets will initially have limited functionality using the My Triumph Connectivity System. This is to be rectified soon in the next instrument software update for this model. Please be aware that it will still appear like the navigation can be paired within the setup menu and be visible within the instrument trays, however this will not work until the software release. A revised instrument calibration to enable iPhone connectivity for the Speed Triple 1200 RS is now complete.
Once the instrument calibration has been updated, users with supported iPhones will be able to fully pair their devices and use the navigation and other features of the My Triumph app.

Does not work

It seems, like many other people, I am unable to get this to work on my bike! I have a 2022 Tiger GT Pro and I am using an iPhone 12. The iphone thinks it is connected to the bike but when trying to “pair” for a route the app keeps saying “error in pairing devices” I have checked the app is fully up to date and the phone iOS software is also up to date. The bike was looked at initially by the dealer who failed to get it to work and was recently booked in for a software download in an attempt to fix it. Unfortunately, this was cancelled at the last minute due to an issue with iOS 16, although, I have tried pairing with both 1OS 15.6 and iOS 15.7 several times and not succeeded. This does not seem acceptable on a close to £14,000 motorcycle from a premium manufacturer, this is also part of their catalogue that Triumph advertise and charge for, either as a standalone or as part of a motorcycle package and consequently it should work! Additionally, my previous BMW motorcycle never had any issues with the connectivity side of things and my phone always connects into my cars ok. I have also spoken to other members of my local owners club who also have the same issue
