MV-Rad: Dark blue and yellow, red white and red black - soon to be found anywhere in mecklenburg-western pomerania. Find our distinctive bikes and rejoice. Register once, come to one of our many stations, hop on and start cycling. Stations at many points throughout the state, with the unique ability to rent the bike at one station, use it as long as you like, and then return it to any other station. Get to know our wonderful country and the people, discover everything 24/7. The MV-Rad apps makes it possible!
You will have everything in one place: Your personal account, coupons, news and the option to give feedback. With the app and your smartphone, you're on the winning track. Simply select the desired bike, enter the bike number or scan the QR code and off you go. To return the bike, select the appropriate station near you or retrieve the location via GPS. It's an experience you don't want to miss - convenient, good value and worth the money.

Needs work but great idea in principle
Needs to allow registration with non-German mobile numbers
Need to greatly increase prominence and real-time notification of incorrectly “returned” bikes (ie not at an official station); also illustrating the geo-fences in the in-app map would be helpful
The only action which doesn’t require an in-app 2-step confirmation is “returning” the bike (by pressing the lock on the bike) which currently can lead to a €50 charge if done outside the return locations. This makes no sense: the greatest fee from the only action that does not require a confirmation in the app. Need to fix this workflow
Need to educate tourist officials as to the above and rental terms
Does not work
App never sends a pin to UK mobile number. Wasted a lot of time walking to the bikes in rural Usedom only for it not to allow registration. Avoid.
The image to lock the bike assumes you know what here lock is
The image of the lock when you return the bike assumes you know what here lock is on the bike!!! In nearly every other city in the world it is on the front wheel when you place it in the stand. But in Greifswald it is on the rear wheel - you could make this much clearer!!
