A user friendly Rate your music
I never understood rym because of how unintuitive it is to use. This app takes notes from Letterboxd and applies it to music and it works almost perfectly. However, there are a few things I prefer from rym, there is a much more comprehensive database useful if you are into more obscure music releases, I have tried contributing these releases but a lot of them get declined or get stuck on pending. It seems it only takes discogs as a reputable source, I was wondering if rym could be taken as a reputable source to bridge the gap between databases to fill in what’s missing from Musicboard. One small thing from rym I like is showing how your ratings appear if plotted on a world map. I don’t know if this is included in the paid pro but it’s nice that is free on rym. One last things is the ability to filter the highest rated albums. For example if you want to see the top rated ambient albums you don’t see a comprehensive list, like why is music of the spheres by Coldplay at 15? I guess it only filters the top 250 instead it could show you the top 250 ambient albums or even more.

EDIT: this review was initially 3 stars. This was as version 3.0 was not stable enough for the number of users. This has since been FIXED! This app now warrants a 5-star rating (:
This app has great potential but had a LOT of bugs that need fixing before it becomes fully functional useable.
Personally, the app refuses to open on my device despite having it being used earlier today.
Outstanding
I love this app, especially how it has no adds and the user interface is just so clean. I really wish it took just a little bit more notes from Letterboxd on how everything is arranged but everything is amazing.
