Pretty good - could be better

You can set min/max note and good for practicing notes alongside my sight reading for guitarists book. Could be improved with ability to show treble & bass on screen at the same time (for piano, etc) instead of confusingly switching from one to the other. Also be nice if they fixed the bug that means the previous run’s last note stays shown before the first of the current run is shown, as sometime you’re too quick and get a “wrong note” inaccuracy which knocks your max possible score down. Also it would be great if it could produce a few bars of random notes (within note limits set and show treble or bass & treble, etc) so you can practice at the piano or guitar - doesn’t need to recognise the notes and mark you - but if it could that would be even better.

Simple and straight to the point

It’s a great and simple app with a scoreboard. I like the keyboard option too.

I’d love to see more detailed stats and features like showing which notes are most often missed or notes which one spends most time on (indicating thinking time and thus a note requiring more attention). With this, the student could then train on those specific notes.

Nevertheless, existing features work well. It does what it says on the tin 👍

Excellent resource

This is an excellent and reasonably priced app you can use anywhere, anytime - waiting for the kettle to boil, travelling etc.
A really useful function is being able to ramp up the difficulty in small steps and the timer modes, to gradually build up your speed.
I found that after using it regularly, I was able to pick up and read sheet music much faster.
I use it twice a day minimum and can instantly see my progress on the displayed graph.
Absolutely perfect for beginners to use complement more traditional methods if learning to read.
