Mr. Number Lookup & Call Block 4+

Has certainly reduced number of annoying calls, some aspects of the user interface could be improved, this is only reason I didn’t give 5 stars.
Definitely worth having.
If it progresses to having option to switch on call shielding using phone book that would be top class.

Just like the other recent reviews say, this app has been free for years and had their database grow BECAUSE of people reporting numbers. Now that they have a huge database and are popular they’re charging monthly all of a sudden. I would have faithfully stuck with it for who knows how many more years had it not been for this intentional strategy of getting people’s help with building the database for free, then trying to get paid for it later. The app itself was really good and it worked for me in the UK.

People have said it before around last year; I would pay for this app if it was a small one time purchase for the whole app or just some separate premium features as a one time purchase. No way monthly works when there’s free alternatives out there not doing this.

They also now suggest using their other “free” app Hiya, which also has a premium subscription and the free features are not at all the way this one’s was. All in all they’re trying really hard to profit in the worst possible way. I’m just really disappointed.

PLEASE LISTEN & ACT ON THIS, DEVELOPER(S) : I used to LOVE this app a lot... It still blocks or at least appears to block SPAM, PPI, COLD CALLING Calls... And the UI (User Interface) seemed to have improved... UNFORTUNATELY, the app seems to have lost the ability it gave to contact the developer(s) via the app & ALSO the ability to block Non-UK Incoming calls (instead converting them to UK Dialing Codes)... IT’S NOT IDEAL, but I’m sure people like me WHO are inundated with SPAM CALLS, would be prepared to pay up to GBP £1.50 a month for an app (VIA IN-APP PURCHASES) that works effectively, can block & report UK & NON-UK Numbers & THAT ALSO gives one the opportunity to pass constructive or positive comments on to the Developer...
