The story of Morphite takes place in a far off future when humanity has long since populated the distant reaches of space. The player takes on the role of Myrah Kale, a young woman residing on a space station and workshop under the care of her surrogate father, Mr. Mason. What starts as a simple exploratory mission to gather supplies to support their shop rapidly turns into a journey revealing Myrah’s unknown past and her relationship to a rare, coveted, and nearly extinct material called Morphite.
In order to unlock and understand the mysteries of her past, Myrah must travel to undiscovered planets, roam uncharted sectors of space, and confront exotic creatures and locales in search of this Morphite.
Aside from the main storyline, the worlds of Morphite are randomly generated. Encounter various creature types, landscapes, caves, rivers, and more to explore. Explore large space stations, abandoned or infested with alien life.

Ratings and Reviews
Not bad
As a very casual gamer I hat the whole freemium model, so this is already a huge step up from those money gougers. The graphics are really nice and stylized and the controls are pretty straight forward though they take some getting used to as it’s hard to both look around AND shoot at the same time so that part could be improved. Some of the select from inventory could also be improved. One negative for me is the narrative pieces are a bit long and there’s no way to replay them after they’re skipped, in my case I skipped one narrative piece and I no longer have clear instructions on what to do next and no way to go back and replay... so this could really be improved. Other than that this is one of the better games I’ve played.
Worth every penny
Just an absolutely brilliant game, it’s crazy to think that a fully fledged game like this is on a phone. But it shows it can be done and I wish there were more games like this on the store
The story of the game is great, the characters are pretty likeable and the entire thing is voice acted, though none of the puzzles are particularly challenging, they’re not stupidly easy either. And you’ll want to keep playing to acquire more of the weapons and equipment. I like the simple art style, and how expansive the environments are, and the gameplay is essentially endless because of the procedural generation of the planets, flora and fauna. All of which we can be scanned, and the scans traded for money or blueprints for upgrades for you ship & suit. I am yet to find any temples on the planets that aren’t linked to the story, but I haven’t been to too many yet. Part of me wishes you could fly the ship around space but I can’t complain really, considering how much else’s has been fit into this game. The chance interactions in hyperspace are pretty cool as well, it kind of makes the universe feel alive.
It’s a really cool game with a decent campaign, endless exploration and I can see myself playing this for a while to come. We need more of this. This is how games should be, how the used to be, before pay to play ruined everything. I’d of happily payed more for this game and I can’t recommend it enough!
Great game
Although I’ve only played this for a couple of hours I can say it is a complete breath of fresh air compared to all the freemium-IAP-packed-rubbish that populates the App Store. This is well worth the cost of the app and then some. Well done devs for another great app and keeping to the premium model. So far this game has made me laugh out loud, made me nervous to open doors to see what might attack from inside, and made me feel like an explorer. I’ve downloaded hundreds of games on my phone and iPad over the years but this feels like something special. Don’t hesitate - for the price of a fast food burger or a couple of posh coffees it’s SO worth it.
Also as a side note I played this on iPhone 6s and it works great. The controls are really straightforward and compared to most of the FPS games I’ve played on my phone this one is actually easier to use than most.
I have a steelseries stratus controller so will update this review when I’ve tried the game with that but I can expect it will make this great game even better.
