Vending machine not found

EDIT: Amended to 2 stars. Money was refunded. However, don’t see the point in offering an app for Payment from a machine that “was not found”.

2 vending machines in Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Simpsons maternity directed me to this app. I had no money change to pay.

So downloaded the app and added credit to MoneyX. Tried to pay with this. App showed “an error has occurred” or “machine not found”.

Completely useless. So, requested a refund. App shows refunded and zero credit on MoneyX however money was NOT refunded to my bank. Do I need to report Fraud to my bank???

Stolen my money

I downloaded this app as it was the only way to use the vending machines in the place we were staying. I added €12 euro to the Monyx wallet. The app and vending machines didn’t communicate and I could not use it. I raised a support ticket with Monyx and asked for a refund/ to release the money from my wallet back to my bank. This was in august and we are now in November. No one gets back to you. I have tried severa routes and my money is stuck in the wallet. Whilst it may only be €12 euros. It’s the principle that I cannot get it back. There’s plenty of options to add money but nothing that allows you to refund it back if you don’t use it.

Mis-charged for service but Monyx taking no responsibility

I was mischarged for a service, contacted Monyx regarding refund, but their response was basically “not our problem”. Very unhelpful. Given they are the payment platform for the various services I expect them to resolve mid charging issues and then work with the service providers in the background to fix them.

Stay away from them. If you get mischarged they will just brush you off.
