Description
If you want to use the app without a Monument device, you'll need to buy a subscription.
Monument automatically stores and organizes all of your photos and videos by time, location, faces, and what's in them - making it easy for you to browse your memories. It also eliminates duplicates so you don't have to worry about that.
The Monument app on iOS automatically transfers photos from your phone to Monument.
Monument was built with your privacy in mind. Your content is always stored privately and under your control. We never analyze, profile, store, or access your contents or personal information by any means.
When you connect to your home Wi-Fi network, syncing will start automatically. This way, your transfer will be faster and your smartphone battery won't be drained as much.

Was excellent - sadly seems abandonned
I’ve been a supporter of Monument Labs from the original Kickstarter, upgrading from Monument 1 to the SSD Monument 2.
In recent months, the company’s focus and efforts appear to have shifted to their Cloud platform, with support for the Monument hardware becoming unresponsive.
I can no longer connect to the device from this app, despite the Moument being connected to my network and accessible from the desktop app. Their help site provides no contact information, just a bunch of FAQs that don’t help.
I’m left wondering if this is the end of the line for the hardware. Zero communication fom the vendor does not help loyal customers.
Looks like I’ll have to move to Immich or another self-hosted solution for photo storage (again).
Excellent technical support
I’ve been using this app since the Kickstarter campaign in late 2016. Over that time, the developers have released a steady stream of updates, adding all the features promised and broadly in line with their roadmap. The result is very easy to use and manages the device well. Monument also benefits from an active and vocal online user community, with the developers actively engaged in all discussions. Finally, it has to be said that the support team is excellent. Over the years, I’ve experienced a couple of significant issues. Each time, I’ve been kept up to date with progress, with promised fixes arriving quickly and on time. Thoroughly recommended.
Brilliant way to store your photos
Does what it says on the tin, easy to use, easy to sort into albums, brilliant and quick. Swallowed up my 2500+ photos and a load of videos without any issues.
Support were brilliant when I was struggling to connect to the monument, it turns out the issue was a failing network switch.
I can highly recommend it, from a very happy customer.
