**How does Mobilize smart charge work?**
You can specify your charging preferences, like at what time you want your electric car to be fully charged. The charging process is then automatically scheduled to maximize the use of renewable energy and minimize the cost of charging. All while ensuring your vehicle is ready to go when you need it!
**Save and earn money with Mobilize smart charge**
By helping to balance the electricity grid, you will receive a cash reward for every kWh you smart charge. Do you have an energy contract with off-peak hours or dynamic tariffs? After you fill in your energy tariffs, your charging schedule will be optimized to charge during the lowest tariff periods. After each session, you instantly see how much you saved on your electricity bill.

Confusing
Even though I’ve added my address the app is saying I have an unmanaged charge due to unknown location. Location service are turned on so it’s not that. It looks like I’m not getting the benefits expected from switching to Octopus Go. Let’s hope it’s sorted soon. I’ve contacted Octopus and Mobilize to see if this can be resolved. The app did work in fully charging my car but it looks from the app screen like it’s been sending a full charge to my car since I plugged in the charger even though it didn’t!
Update
I’ve now deleted the app and given up on Octopus Go. I charged last night and it only gave me 4% energy, it was 2% the other day, and it never reaches the upper limit. It’s a great shame because I’ve been waiting to use Octopus Go for some time but you messed up with this hopeless app
The worst app ever
I used that app for several months it was working apart from blocking my car so I was unable
To remotely pre heat etc. It seems that they sort kind off problem but only today the app is showing that my car is not connected therefore I cannot benefit from low price charging from my energy supplier if I know Renault this will take months to resolve I did try to connect reconnect my other app to control socket is working fine showing that car is connected but somehow this app is missing something. Also my smart charge schedule and test charge cannot be performed after resetting all settings as app does not know that I plugged in the car???
Dodgy and erratic at best
I’ve had broken nights where I’ve had to get up, go down to the car in my dressing gown (this is Winter) and restart the charging process from inside the car.
Nothing else will do it.
The last straw was I needed the car to be at 80% by morning. I’d already been down to the car that night, and then woke up to check on it at 3am. It had got to 27% and stopped.
Now, I don’t use the app at all.
Life’s too short to add this disruptive nonsense to my sleep.
