MK Connect 4+

I used it for the first time today and very happy with the service. It was literally door to door service with a very reasonable fare. The only downside is that the waiting time isvtoo long. If you have enough time then it's ok but in case you are in hurry or want to save time then it's not practical.
VERDICT: it can be the best mode of public transport in Milton Keynes if the waiting time is short.

This service is of no benefit to those trying to get to work, college or school. It replaced the bus service I once had where I live. It’s very difficult to get a booking due to high demand and the app is inaccurate in informing people when your driver will actually arrive. When you get in the vehicle it’s impossible to know when you will actually reach your destination. I’m rarely ever on time for work. The service has been running since 2020 and it’s not getting any better. I miss having a reliable bus service with a timetable and affordable ticket options. There is not even a day pass option for mk connect unlike for Arriva. I’m sure the service is saving the council money, but at the cost of other peoples’ jobs!

Have literally spent the last hour spam pressing the button to book a ride on this app, and have gotten nowhere. Must’ve pressed it at least 200 times at this point.

I use this service regularly and let me tell you, when it comes to actually booking a ride, they could not make it a worse experience if they tried. Zero reliability. Virtually impossible to get one, and if you’re lucky enough to get through and begin the booking process, more often then not you’ll just end up with the message, “that seat’s gone!”

The actual physical service is good ( although usually late) but the app is a crime against humanity.
