Ratings and Reviews
Lack of connectivity.
It is at times hit or miss in trying to view images from Curiosity, Spirit and Opportunity I have no trouble viewing, is there a problem with the app in relation to Curiosity? Otherwise it’s a great app.
NASA does it again! Wow.
I don't normally write reviews, but I had to make exception for this 1, NASA has done it again with this amazing immersive app, you can just sit in the comfort of your armchair, kick back, and be transported to Mars and see in full 360 degrees what those amazing little rovers are seeing on each Sol (Mars day) that they have been up there, even seeing the last resting place of the poor stricken rover spirit, curiosity and opportunity and still working away up there sending new pics back daily! This is a must have app if you have any interest in space to see another planet like this in full detail is truly breathtaking.
Midnight Planets
This is an absolutely fabulous App. If you're into Mars Curiosity explorer then this is the App for you.
If you look at the images from Sol 2 to Sol 16 and look closely at the tracks left by Curiosity you'll see the start of Curiosity's journey on the Martian surface. You'll also notice the areas on the surface where the jet blasts of the Sky Crane are noticeable and the journey begins.
You might also suspect that the erratic line of navigation is where the team on Earth are getting used to the controls.
With more to come from Curiosity's adventure, you never know Curiosity might even give Beagle 2 a push start!
