Outstanding
I’m not normally one to leave a review, as most of these types of games I download, they get a bit stale quite quickly and I lose interest. This game on the other hand has been nothing short of amazing.
Progression is perfectly balanced in my opinion, not so fast that you power through the lot and find yourself becoming bored, but not painstakingly slow so as to require in app purchases to progress. Additionally they very rarely make purchases stand out like a sore thumb, keeping them mainly to the store section and they don’t feel like theyre intruding on the experience in the slightest.
With that being said, a recent experience of mine is what finally gave me the deciding factor to leave this review. After an issue presented itself involving an in-app purchase, the team were incredibly friendly and helpful in resolving the issue. I cannot praise their efforts enough. Keep up the great work guys!
Best mobile game I’ve played…
… and I’ve tried a LOT! Charming, unique art style. Intriguing and very subtle story. But this is all about the gameplay. The magic word here is balance - from the constant mix of fast and slow quests, to the steady levelling up of resource ‘stations’, to the different patterns and waits of how you get each resource, to the regular ebb and flow of your board from uncomfortably full to having plenty of room - everything is beautifully balanced. One to dip into throughout the day at your leisure rather than play for hours at a time. I just love it!
All Round Great Game but……………….
A great game that I’ve been playing for a long time now. No overly oppressive adds (but they are there if you want them) which is nice. HOWEVER, some of the events are ludicrously easy and other ones are basically impossible too complete within the time frame. Don’t get me wrong I’m really happy there’s events are happening and I love the game in general but you gotta get the balance right. Also, when it comes too item generators, you’d think that having the final version of each one would provide you with the most items. This is not the case unfortunately, you actually get more items if you just keep a lot of lower level ones, it’s just the items aren’t as higher level but you still get so many more. But having said that, I’ll reiterate my first point, the game over all is very very good! If you just get the event balancing right and maybe make the fully upgraded generators better, it would be five stars.
