Mapulator - GPS Field Measure 17+

Just discovered it and started to use it. Seems pretty good, only thing I’d ask for extra is Bing maps to be included as a choice because Bing has more up to date satellite view of my area than the other two.

I’ve tried a couple of these area calculation type apps. This seems to be one of the better ones. Others are ridiculously overpriced or hugely limiting in the free version. Played around with it for a bit and it seems fairly easy to use. It doesn’t result in as accurate a result as Google’s native search and displays a very zoomed out scale. As you zoom in, the dropped pin marker moves so you have to go looking for your location. The other major issue is that there is apparently no landscape version in iPad which is really unhelpful. I want the advantage of a larger screen and my iPad case is landscape making this app cumbersome in portrait. Most maps are better in landscape anyway. If there was a landscape mode and the dropped pin didn’t shift about and the search results were more accurate, it could be quite a good app.

This used to be great, and worthy of 5 stars. But just updated to ios15 and updated all apps. Now when I open it the app is a blank white page, the buttons at top right are all grey except for the settings cog which looks selectable but just flashes when pressed and doesn’t open any menus.

The only thing I can do is enter a new project name and description. At this point the other three icons at top right appear to be useable, but If I try to add a layer or click any of the three icons the app trashes to my home screen. When I reopen it from the active apps bar at the bottom of my Home Screen I am back to square one.

Please fix the app or tell me why mine isn’t working please.
