Maps needed back for ios6?
This app is the closest thing I've seen to the much missed googlemaps app that Apple have annoyingly and very disappointingly removed in ios6. If you are missing googlemaps this app will lift your heart. The only feature missing that would totally complete the app and personally if it had the feature I'd pay for the app and that is streetview from google built into the app just like the old native iPhone googlemaps.
Well I'm one of the many millions who since trusting apple to improve things with every ios upgrade went along and grabbed the update. Furious now that they never warned me that it will delete my google maps native app and give me an alternative that I find next to useless as you can't find all the places you need to find on it, can't find places by looking at the map because the colour scheme and layout is too basic. For the first time ever I am very disappointed with Apple and given how many others like me can't believe they don't fix the massive worldwide disappointment and swallow their pride and give everyone googlemaps back as a second map option.
Old maps
I checked some places and this maps seems to be very old missing a lot of details and via satellite also old view…
No cloud saving/sync of bookmarks
Can’t sync bookmarks between main phone and travel phone and can’t sync bookmarks between iPhone and iPad. This is a major fail.
