Recommend manga/manwha app
This app works very well and super easy to use, the forever subscription is fairly priced.
The only reason I didn’t give it a 5star is when a manga gets a new chapter it doesn’t always show it’s been updated. I had 3 that had new chapters but instead of showing them at the top of my bookmarks they had to scroll to find it and even then there was nothing to indicate it had a new chapter out.
Does the job but clunky.
As the title suggests it is a pretty good and standard manga reader for IOS devices. probably the best on here at the time of writing this review (for a one time purchase instead of monthly/yearly subscription) but definitely not the best i’ve downloaded, due to older manga apps getting removed. One thing in this app that disappoints me ,after using many other manga apps over the years, is that there is no setting to swap swipe direction to change pages (default is swiping the wrong way for reading manga.) which isn’t a problem is you read vertically but it has taken a lot of getting used to. The app itself doesn’t feel very fluid. Though it looks nice with the black and orange colour scheme, the UI looks presentable but a lot of space in certain tabs just feels wasted. It doesn’t seem that any kind of quality of life updates for the app will be coming as it was last update was 1 year ago at this time. On a great note the contents in this manga database seems extremely broad. Manga i have struggled to find on other apps show up here which is a massive plus. This app has tons to offer ands it’s a shame how much the little things with the UI and the flow of reading can impact the whole feel of the app. If these get improved on this app would be an easy 5 star manga app for great value.
Reading same with swiping direction
absolutely love and found all of the mangas and webtoons I want to read. Affordable, not super fond of the home page. In another app similar to this (but I’m not subscribed to) is the function setting to flip through the pages in the default reader like a manga, simple as that. Currently, the pages only goes in all the same direction (not including scroll). I would go back to this more if it had that feature where it is easier for my eyes to read.
