Description
A great way to email friends, colleagues, sports teams or church groups
Easily manage and send email to groups from the app, share documents to groups directly from other apps, or forward email to a group.
Try MailShot for free with up to three groups, of up to five people in each. A simple in-app upgrade unlocks the ability to create up to 100 different groups of 100 or more contacts (Limits depend on your email provider.)
Create groups in many ways: add from Contacts, import an address book group, enter addresses directly, or paste strings of names and addresses.
MailShot creates its own groups, which can do several things which regular address book groups cannot...
• Contacts can use different email addresses for each group. (Add work address to a work-related group, and home address to a sports group etc.)
• Contacts do not need to be present in your address book.
TIPS
• Protect privacy by placing addresses in the Bcc: line.
• To forward an email (with attachments), “Copy to clipboard" then paste to the address line in your Mail app.

An optional plugin is now available to verify the email domains for a group, a common reason that group emails can be rejected by your email provider. It will also test domains on any new addresses that you add.

I needed to find a replacement app for sending group emails. Looked long and hard. Eventually plumped for this one. I needed it to be able to BCC easily, tick this fits the bill perfectly. Also wanted to be able to choose the email account to send to each contact when those contacts have more than one associated with them, tick! MailShot allows you to create the group with the email of your choice for each contact. The last app didn’t do this so this saves so much time. Hope it continues to work with the updates Apple keep sending out as that’s why the last app stopped working and is no longer available on the App Store. Well worth £3:99 only gave 4 stars as I’ve only just started to use it so haven’t put it through its paces yet. 😁
Now been using for over a month and can upgrade to 5stars. There is so much this little app has in its favour. Love the fact the developer’s are continuing to make improvements and keeping it working with all the many updates that apple seem to keep bringing out. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
Efficient and easy to use
I have used this for several years without any problems. Very easy to set up.
When my wife bought a new iPad she was able to use this app with family sharing. The support team sorted out initial difficulties speedily and now my much prefers this app to the one she used to use.
Very Useful
Extremely handy app to make email groups for your iPad as you can in Windows. I find it most surprising that Apple did not add that facility to Contacts. MailShot imports your Contacts and then you select those you want in a group, give the group a name, and send an email to all members of the group. Simples!
