Application feels like was developed by a 12 year old

I don’t know why do I have to see every single time I open the application a splash screen that says something completely useless and unrelated to the application use. Do you think that if I see the application printing out “LIMITLESS” on every available row for 4 seconds every time I open it, I will remember that Lycamobile is limitless? No - I will get furious that you’re wasting my time. Also figure out your authentication because it resets my number and I have to receive 2-3 garbage SMS because I have to reauthenticate for no reason and it gets stuck on loading spinner when I get the SMS - I can’t put it in. Seriously, do you outsource the development to some incompetent programmers because it’s just cheap? Well, that’s what you get in return for wanting “cheap”.

Driving me to Insanity!!

Switching to LycaMobile is one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. I have never been able to log on, the number they sent me keeps coming up as “invalid user”. Customer service staff are next to impossible to get hold of and every time I have managed to get through to someone they tell me the exact same scripted thing each time. This includes saying they “understand” and “no worries” as well as saying they’re escalating my concern to their supervisor and that their technical team in the “relevant department” are still working on the issue with no estimated time of completion and that I should call back again in a few days if I haven’t heard anything. It’s been OVER SIX WEEKS of this now. My number was ported over to LycaMobile and is stuck in this limbo hell. It’s like Schrodinger’s number at this point. Both existing and not existing. Meanwhile I can’t be reached by my employer or my family. I can’t receive two factor security codes for things and my mental and physical health is starting to suffer. LycaMobile are nothing but scripted heartless responses that achieve nothing and it’s driving me mad! Either fix the issue or give me back my number so I can go elsewhere!!!!!!!

Abysmal provider, app, and service.

This company attempts to lure customers in with cheap deals which are too good to be true. Data works for the first bit. As soon as you try add more, you get your money taken. Spent a total of 25 pounds over 2 days on ‘Topping up’ the account, which added no data. 10 of these pounds were added to the credit balance, and THE OTHER £15 POUNDS DISAPPEARED into thin air. I spent £3 of the remaining 10 on 1gb of data. The next day, the UNSPENT £7 ALSO VANISHED MIRACULOUSLY. So, for the not so ‘competitive price’ of £25, I got to spend £3 on a gb of data while losing the other £22 into the abyss of nothingness. Customer support was not hesitant make no helpful contribution, telling me I had spent £17 of the £20 I had added, when in reality I only used £3. No internet access at all during that time past the 1gb. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEIR PRODUCT OR SERVICE TO ANYONE unless you enjoy wasting your time and money. Also the app interface is pretty horrendously thought out.
