Description
Lineup - Football Squad for iOS allows you to create your own Football lineups and save them as images.
You can set up five teams by using your players from your own team, professional players or even your favourite ever 11 from your favourite club.
- Rearrange the players by dragging the images anywhere on the pitch or to the subs bench below.
- Players can be changed by tapping the image and selecting a new player.
- Press and hold to select a Captain.
- Images for players can be imported from your camera, photos app or from a web search.
- When your squad is complete, tap the share button and choose where to save/share the image.
- Images can be saved to your photos app, shared via SMS/Email/Facebook etc or opened in another app.

Brilliant app!
I have been looking for an app to formulate line ups for football teams, but one which looks a bit more professional. The fact you can add images of players on this one makes it just what I want. Takes a while to add all the players, but for each team that is a one off thing which you need to do. Sorting formations etc is pretty simple. I will be using this a lot in the coming season.
Improvements
This is currently my favourite app to sort out my team for the new season however the app crashes regularly would it be possible if you could change something to stop this happening.
Update made it rubbish
Since they changed the way you save pictures, the app is rubbish. It opens a web page to get a full quality picture and more often than not, the picture isn’t in the article or it’s harder to select it. Disappointed. Not using anymore because of that.
EDIT: when you hold the image on the search results, the resolution of the picture is awful. So no, you need to open the page to get the picture in good quality

Hi.
The preview images tend so sit around 200 pixels wide but the saved images in the app are between 45 and 80 pixels wide at most so no matter which image you select it will be reduced to fit the player icon. This has always been the case.
But even so, selecting a higher resolution image still works from my testing and I’ve had no other reports of reduced image quality or images being harder to select.
Please can you email me what device model you are using and which player image you are trying to import.
If I know what the exact issue is I’ll be able to help.
