Lettre.app 9+

I’ve only had this for a few days but I’ve already spoken to so many amazing people. This app is absolutely amazing and is easy to navigate and use- the ‘tips’ section was especially helpful when starting out. I love how there is so many options for customisation of the lettres: the variety of papers you can write on, how you can add stickers and images to the lettres, and how you can even change the envelopes.
The only slight problem that really stood out to me was that you can’t delete drafts. Even though I’ve only had this app for a couple days, I have 14 drafts, most that I’ve not written on, and I can’t figure out how to get rid of them, which means some of my drafts that I need, such as one that I wrote some notes on, get buried beneath the empty ones and I have to scroll down to find them, which is fine now, but if they keep building up it may be a problem.
But that’s the only thing I’ve noticed while using this app, other than that, I’ve really enjoyed using it and being able to find pen pals from across the world. And the fact that it is free and ad-free is amazing.

About the drafts, have you tried swiping on the messages inside your drafts? Sliding left/right should bring up a delete button on the drafts (similar to emails and threads in other messaging apps). Hope that helps!

This app is beautiful. I love the idea, it is all very well executed and feels designed to work perfect with apple. Incredible, but here are a few notes/recommendations.

1) I would love the ability to zoom in while composing a letter, this would make writing easier, especially when trying to be neat.

2) It would be really nice to be able to write multiple pages on your letter, as sometimes just one page can be restrictive.

3) Letters can sometimes seem pixelated, so perhaps a higher resolution or vector system would work better, perhaps sending similar to pdfs or export systems used by goodnotes etc.

4) The option to send a letter immediately without using email would be lovely, although I do appreciate that waiting for letters is part of the joy, but sometimes you just want something to zoom into someones inbox as a thoughtful letter at the time of sending.

However, I do absolutely adore that this app is ad free, and the penpals system is awsome. This app is truly amazing.

About 3, we are still working on making the lettres as high quality as possible while making sure we support as many iPad models as we can. Considering we are such a young app, we are looking for that sweet spot - but don't you worry, we are working day and night to find it.

I’ve only just got this app but I already love it , I can create and send my own letters , add any pictures , stickers . I just love this app so much (๑>◡<๑)
