Not impartial press
Being a non Korean speaker living in Korea can be frustrating at times as you don’t know always what is going on. Being able to follow the news in your native language or at least in English is a necessity as it helps you understand the culture and the world around you better. Unfortunately Korea times is not it, often badly written articles, bias opinion pieces and worst of all cover ups means you don’t get the news you need, let alone deserve. Most recently coverage of the Coronavirus ‘a super spreader’ who is a member of a dangerous cult called shincheonji is responsible for over 50 cases to date. Korea times have under reported and neglected to mention these facts! Whether they are involved with the cult or not it is worrying when their story differs from what’s being reported elsewhere.
